What we collect
Almost nothing. HTML Magic Editor runs entirely in your browser. We don't store your HTML, your edits, or your projects on any server. Your work never leaves your machine.
We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details to use the free tier. You just open the editor and use it.
Analytics
We use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how many people use the tool and which features are popular. Think: "300 people used the editor today." Not: "John from Ohio changed a heading at 3:47 PM."
We don't track you across websites. We don't build profiles. We don't sell data. We're a tiny tool, not an ad company.
Payments
Premium purchases are processed through a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your credit card number, CVV, or billing details. The payment processor handles everything securely.
We only receive confirmation that a payment was made so we can unlock your premium features.
MCP & your data
When you use the MCP integration to connect your AI assistant, data flows directly between your AI and the editor running in your browser. We don't intercept, read, store, or log any of that communication.
The MCP connection is a direct channel. We're not in the middle of it.
Your HTML
Your HTML stays in your browser. Period. When you paste HTML into the editor, it lives in your browser's memory. When you close the tab, it's gone — unless you exported it first.
We literally cannot access your HTML. It never touches our servers. There are no servers involved in the editing process. It's all local.
Think of it like a calculator. You type numbers in, do your thing, and the calculator doesn't phone home to tell anyone what 7 × 8 is.
